Hrombula Frowns. And She's Good at It

Furrowed brows, a long nose and freckles on her cheeks. Exactly the kind of witch who lives in a cottage beyond the forest in fairy tales. Her skirt is made of plain jute, as if she'd sewn it from a potato sack. Her face is printed, so that grumpy expression turns out right every time.

Her friends Zubejda, Uršula and Ohnimůra are smiling. Hrombula is the one in the gang who balances things out.

Step-by-Step Instructions

How to Assemble Hrombula

Here it is in a nutshell. We have detailed instructions with photos on our blog.

Arms. Fold the black pipe cleaner in half and wrap it around the longer stick. Leave the ends the same length and twist them into arms.

Head. Put a drop of glue on the tip of the stick and set the head on top.

Skirt. Fold the jute, push the stick through its middle and glue the jute right under the arms. Then open it up a little with your hands so the skirt has volume.

Hair. Spread glue on top of the head and place the black-and-red pipe cleaner on it. With a hot glue gun it holds instantly; with Duvilax or Herkules, hold it with your fingers for a while.

Broom. Glue the broom die-cut onto the shorter stick, thread it under the skirt and wrap the arms around it. If the broom slips over time, just add an extra drop of glue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Won't a young child be afraid of her?

Most kids laugh at her rather than fear her – with that messy mane, she looks funny. If you have a more sensitive child at home, go for Uršula or Ohnimůra – both of them smile.

Why won't the hair stay on?

Most often there's too little glue, or the hair was let go before it set. Duvilax and Herkules both need to be held for a few minutes. A hot glue gun holds fastest, but leave that to the adults.

Do you have instructions with photos?

Will it last until next year?

Yes, if you store it in a box in a dry place after the season. If something comes loose, you can glue it back in a minute.

Can we order for a club on invoice?
