A witch on a broom made of 3 mm poplar plywood, 10 cm tall. The tip of her hat has an eyelet for string. We ship it unpainted and in one piece – nothing to glue or assemble. Available individually or in a pack of five.
Twice a Year
For Halloween and Witches' Night
After Halloween, the pumpkin goes into a box until next fall. Not the witch – her turn comes again at the end of April, when the Witches' Night bonfires are lit.
And what if your child colors it black one time and wants a spring witch in a green dress the next? Buy two. Every season deserves its own.
Step-by-Step Instructions
How to Do It
Nothing needs gluing here, so it's just painting and hanging.
1
Start with the large areas. Lay down newspaper and first color the dress and the hat. Give watercolors a quarter of an hour to dry, acrylics preferably half an hour.
2
Details last. The face, hair, boots and broom with a thin brush. If the black hat isn't dry yet, wait – otherwise it will bleed into the hair.
3
Be careful with the broom and the eyelet. The broom handle and the eyelet at the tip of the hat are the thinnest parts. Don't press on them with the brush, and don't leave the witch lying in a puddle of water.
4
Thread and hang. Both jute twine and fishing line fit through the eyelet on the hat. On fishing line, the witch looks like she's really flying.
Three Ideas for Using It
Where to Hang the Witch
On a broom, she looks best where she can sway a little.
For the Window
Hung on fishing line against a window, she looks like she's just flying by. A small pumpkin goes nicely with her.
A Garland for Witches' Night
A pack of five makes a finished garland for the classroom or a garden party. Each witch in a different dress.
For a Branch
In the fall, on a dry branch in a vase; in the spring, on a blossoming one. The witch moves, and the decor instantly changes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it also suitable for Witches' Night?
Yes, and that's the nice thing about it. In the fall it works for Halloween, at the end of April for Witches' Night. Just color it to suit your mood – black in the fall, spring colors in the spring.
Is string for hanging included in the pack?
No, string is not included in the pack. Both jute twine and thin fishing line fit through the eyelet at the tip of the hat.
Won't the broom break?
Not with normal painting. But the broom handle is the thinnest part, so don't press on it with the brush and don't pick the witch up by the broom. It's safest to hold her by the body.
Is it suitable for preschool or a club?
Yes, especially in the fall and before Witches' Night. Nothing needs gluing, so the activity fits into one hour. For a class of 25 kids, plan on five packs of five. We issue invoices with payment terms to preschools, schools, municipalities and organizations – just enter the organization's name and its registration or tax ID number when you order.
